You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use ember. If you're using ember on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organisation.
ember is not intended for children. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 16, we'll delete it promptly.
One account per person. You agree not to share your login credentials, transfer your account, or let anyone else access it on your behalf (other than team members you invite through ember's built-in collaboration features).
You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including posts published to your connected channels.
We want ember to be a calm, useful tool. You agree to use it lawfully, respectfully, and in line with our [Acceptable Use Policy](/usage-policy).
Behaviour that's abusive to us, our team, or other users, including harassment, threats, or deliberate disruption of the service, may result in immediate suspension.
ember connects to platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads), TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and X via OAuth. When you connect a channel, you authorise us to act on your behalf within the permissions you've granted, for example, to publish scheduled posts or fetch analytics.
You remain responsible for complying with each platform's own terms of service, community guidelines, and developer policies. If a platform suspends or bans your account, we cannot restore it on your behalf.
You can revoke our access any time from your account settings in ember, or directly from the third-party platform.
You own your content. The posts, captions, images, videos, tasks, notes, and other content you create or upload to ember remain yours.
To run the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, display, and transform your content, but only as needed to provide ember to you (for example, scheduling a post or generating a preview). This licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.
We do not use your content to train AI models and we do not sell it.
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime, but we don't guarantee it. ember depends on third-party infrastructure (hosting, databases, social-platform APIs) that can occasionally fail.
Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Emergency maintenance may happen without notice if security or stability is at risk.
From time to time we release features marked as "beta", "preview", or "experimental". These are provided as-is, may change significantly, may be unstable, and may be removed without notice. Don't rely on a beta feature for business-critical work.
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- •You breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy
- •You abuse the service or our team
- •Your account puts the service, other users, or our infrastructure at risk
- •A connected platform requires us to suspend your access
- •Your payment is overdue and not resolved after notice
- •We're legally required to
Where reasonable, we'll give notice and a chance to fix the issue. For serious breaches we may suspend immediately.
To keep ember fast and stable for everyone, we apply reasonable rate limits on scheduling, publishing, AI generation, and API calls to third-party platforms. These limits vary by plan and may be adjusted over time.
Unlimited plans mean unlimited normal use, not a licence to run bulk automation or resell our capacity.
We're constantly improving ember. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially reduces what's available on your plan, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can decide whether to continue.
Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, X, and other platforms change their APIs, policies, and permissions regularly. These changes can break features, delay posts, or restrict functionality in ways outside our control. We work hard to adapt quickly but cannot guarantee that every integration will always work.
ember helps you plan and publish content, we make no promises about performance. Reach, engagement, followers, conversions, and sales depend on many factors beyond our platform.
We're not liable for actions taken by third-party platforms against your content or accounts, including post removals, shadow bans, or account suspensions.
